I also have a /etc/X11//nf: Section "Device" etc/default/grub has this (and I’ve grub-mkconfig’ed): GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet i915.enable_psr=0 resume=UUID=. I have the nvidia package installed, and I’ve configured nvidia prime to keep the GPU not in use: ~]$ cat /etc/X11/nf Is it possible maybe it’s rendering on the Nvidia card itself? How could I fix that? The dGPU is much worse than the integrated graphics, so I don’t use it. It has a combination of Iris Xe Integrated Graphics and a Nvidia dGPU. Upgrade to Windows 11 that some users mentioned that solve the problem is not currently possible.I’ve had a laptop with Iris Xe graphics for a while now. (Process exit code: 0xe0464645, Restart count: 1, Primary display device ID: Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics) The Desktop Window Manager process has exited. Microsoft and event logs indicate that it's drivers issue:įaulting application name: dwm.exe, version: 1.746, time stamp: 0圆be51595įaulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 1.2728, time stamp: 0xe7e53a4eįaulting application start time: 0x01d9736ac5438809įaulting application path: C:\Windows\system32\dwm.exeįaulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll I've tested all workarounds from internet, also tested old drivers (27.20.*) with no luck. I hoped that the latest driver (31.0.101.4314) would solve the problem, but the issue keeps happening. All are fully patched (Windows 10/Office 365). As many users have reported in the past, I have the same problem with Iris Xe graphics on dozens of laptops and NUCs.
